What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Business Development position at MindCast AI?
MindCast AI is hiring a Director of Business Development to bring our market-ready technology to the right clients. The value propositions are written. The strategy is clear. Now we need a high-trust connector—someone who can open doors, hold the room, and translate value without distortion.
This is not a technical role. It’s a strategic interface role. You’ll act as a liaison between the founder and the market, helping institutional clients understand what we do—without losing clarity or overcomplicating the pitch. You’ll know how to speak the language of business value—without getting technical.
You’ll manage partnership development with precision and clarity. You’ll be expected to give the elevator speech, not write the system. Clear, confident communication—in writing and in person—is critical.
We’re looking for someone with a proven ability to earn trust in professional settings. If you know how to navigate serious rooms, convert strategic introductions into traction, and operate with discretion, this is your lane.

Prerequisites
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Demonstrated track record of executive-level engagements or client-facing roles
• Extended professional network across legal, investment, institutional, or policy environments
• Polished written and oral communication skills
• Trustworthy, focused, and emotionally intelligent under pressure
⸻
Compensation
This is a performance-based role with compensation tied directly to results. You’ll earn:
• 10% of revenue from secured deals or client engagements
• Finders fees for key introductions that lead to strategic partnerships or institutional contracts
• An hourly rate for secured projects, negotiable depending on task complexity and scope
There is no base salary at this time. This role is designed for someone who operates with trust, confidence, and long-term alignment—and wants to grow with the system, not just sell it.
