Minden Meat And Deli in Minden, NV is looking for Two part time sandwich artists to join our 28 person strong team. Position is suitable for most applicants 18-60, and is available for part time or full time hours.

We are located on 1595 Us Hwy 395 N. Our ideal candidate is friendly and easy going, gets along well with others, can listen and follow directions. is attentive, punctual, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

*Wage D.O.E. for example, a 21 and older person who has work experience, will start at higher wage rate than 16 year old, with no previous work history. *Being Friendly and learning positive customer service is a must! *Pay close attention to detail, and artfully build sandwiches for best flavor combinations and attractiveness *Make sauces from scratch *Make fresh sandwiches to order, with customers unique specifications. *Slice all cheeses, meats and vegetables. *Make a variety of salads *Answer the phone and take orders *Able to help customers to choose their cut of raw meat and chicken on occasion

Qualifications

*Must be 18 *Be quick, courteous, and have excellent hygiene *Excellent attention to detail *Must be friendly and be able to get along with others *DRUG FREE WORK PLACE *Must be able to stand for a minimum of 4.5 hours *Must be able to lift 25 lbs

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $11.50 - $17.00/hour.

About Minden Meat and Deli: We are a family owned and operated business that started in 2012. We specialize in craft beers (31 on tap), and high end retail beer, wine and bourbon. We are known for our Signature marinated Tri-tip. You can purchase the tri-tip raw to BBQ at home and we sell it cooked and sliced by the pound. Its also served on our Tri-Tip salad and signature Tri-Tip sandwiches. We make a variety of Paninis and other made to order sandwiches. Our award winning Burgers are made from Creekstone Farms Choice Black Angus Beef that we trim and grind in house several times a day. The big Half pound patty is cooked fresh to order and topped with house made sauces and fresh produce, topped off with brioche buns delivered daily from Truckee Sourdough.
