Mindful Health is a combination of Bricks & Mortar locations and virtual service offerings across the state of Texas to create a high-end client experience. We currently have locations in the following locations: Rockwall, Heath, San Antonio, Georgetown and now Cypress, TX!
Mindful Health is looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team. The Business Development Representative is responsible for prospecting sales and qualifying leads for the company. As a new company, the business development representative will communicate our mission/values to new referral sources, establish referral pipelines, and generate engagement in the Mindful Health social platforms.
The business development representative must be willing to travel to multiple sites according to the marketing/business development plan and expect to travel around 80% of the time. There will be concentrated business development opportunities where our Bricks & Mortar clinics are located. This position will report to the Director of Business Development with a chance for advancement for highly enthusiastic and internally motivated individuals as we continue to grow our business development team.
The candidate must be familiar with the behavioral health and healthcare market in Cypress, TX. Experience calling on hospitals, medical practices, or mental health professionals preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect new sale leads through phone calls, emails, and face-to-face contacts.
- Plan quarterly events (i.e., continuing education, conferences, networking lunches/dinners, etc.) for potential referents.
- Schedule tours of Mindful Health facilities, and coordinate with on-site staff to ensure tours are planned and executed according to plan.
- Log new accounts with no more than 30% of new accounts begin treatment providers (i.e., IOP, outpatient, residential facilities, etc.)
- Plan strategic routing for scheduled meetings each week.
- Log all activities into CRM according to established deadlines.
- Complete quarterly and annual strategic plans.
- Provide general customer support, including responding to general inquiries, issues, etc., and making necessary service recovery suggestions.
- Demonstrate compliance with Mindful Health policies, including those relating to HIPAA compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- A passion for health, wellness & mindful health
- Bachelors of Science degree in Marketing or Business Administration or Life Sciences is preferred
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Experience with psychiatric inpatient hospitals, mental health outpatient clinics, and other behavioral health treatment sites is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Creativity & the ability to engage others

- Must exemplify organization
- Represents the Company professionally, following all Company policies and procedures and handbook
- Assist with the management of the business development budget

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact verbally and communicate effectively with clients and all levels of personnel in a professional, courteous, and effective manner with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with good organizational skills
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions and to work with general guidance
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned

- The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience ($65k-$75k ANNUALLY WITH COMMISSION OPPORTUNITIES RANGING FROM 10k-20k)
