Fast growing, fast paced distribution company in South Bend, IN looking for a Pick/Pack Associate
Position: Pick/Pack Associate
Hours: Full time, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Mon-Fri. Occasional overtime available.
Compensation: $16-$18/ hour. Retirement plan, PTO, paid holidays, paid parental leave available.
Responsibilities
· Pick, pack, and ship orders for customers accurately and quickly
· Pick, pack, palletize shipments to wholesale customers
· Support warehouse inbound and outbound operations- including assisting with loading/unloading shipments using a forklift
· Help maintain accurate inventory by tracking ins and outs, transfers, counts, etc.
· Stock shipping stations, clean and restock as needed and at end of shift
· Process returns & assist with other various activities as needed
Requirements
· Ability to work in all environments and weather- main working areas are climate controlled, but warehouse is not
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and up to 25 lbs regularly
· Able to drive a forklift occasionally (preferred)
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Positive attitude, willingness to work with a team
· Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
· Attention to detail and able to maintain a high standard of quality
· 2 years warehouse experience required in shipping or receiving
