About the Role
As the Business Development Specialist, or Provider Engagement Specialist as it is called internally, you will work to generate mental healthcare provider interest by digging into untapped platforms and get in front of professionals who may be interested in joining our growing collaborative group of providers.
The Provider Engagement Specialist will be the initial point of contact for new providers, sourcing and maintaining a provider pipeline and initiate opportunities for conversions using multiple streams. You will keep an organized system with up to date information regarding contact, important milestones and notes for other members of the team.
The Provider Engagement Specialist will be able to quickly and easily build a rapport with interested providers. They will excel in a fast-pace, goal driven environment. You will have a tenacious mentality and be self-motivated to meet your individual goals while helping meet the goals of your departments and the company as a whole.
Responsibilities
- Employ a number of recruitment tools and techniques to source and attract interest of quality providers looking to explore a private practice setting with Mindful Therapy Group.
- Spend time assessing interested Providers, thinking critically about their ability to be successful as a business partner.
- Partner with the peers in department to identify recruiting needs, track conversions for follow ups, and establish goals.
- Think outside the box to cultivate new lead sources.
Qualifications/Experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-directed, proactive attitude, and ability to handle uncertainty
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM and other technology platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred OR equivalent experience in sales or recruiting
