What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analytical Chemist position at Mindlance?
Job Title: Chemist
Location: Worcester, MA
Duration: 12 months with possible extension
As a Chemist II or III with experience in the pharmaceutical industry, you have the opportunity to join a renowned global pharmaceutical company and be responsible for executing high-throughput capillary electrophoresis, chromatography, and spectroscopic methods to support the cell line, cell culture, and purification development of biologic molecules as well as supporting method development and/or qualification.
1. B.S. or M.S. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Biology, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
2. 3-4 years of industry or academia experience
3. Experience with analytical instruments including HPLC/UPLC, capillary electrophoresis or mass spectrometry
4. (Optional) Experience with an electronic notebook (ELN), lab information management system (LIMS), robotic liquid handler or data automation is a plus
Shift: M-T Regular business hours.
Interview:
1st Round 30 video min with manager
2nd Round 2-hour Onsite interview (3 or 4 team members)
Presentation- 20-25 minutes about the project or work the candidate has done
