Job Responsibilities
- Primary responsibilities for this position include pipetting clinical specimens, manual specimen processing (smear / stain, lyse, label) bench work, and running specimens on BD FACSCanto II flow cytometer.
- Assignment excludes data analysis.
- This is a bench-level position testing patient samples.
- Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test result;
- Maintain records that demonstrate that proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens;
- Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures (see department SOPs).
- Review and release test results.
- Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines as described in their respective guidelines.
- If needed, participate in government or regulatory agency inspections.
- Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

Pay Rate Range : $30 / hr. to $40 / hr. on W2.
Shift : Tuesday thru Saturday, 8 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm.
Duration : 14 weeks (As of now it is only a Temp assignment for 03 Plus months and can be hired full time perm too.)
