Job Title:
- Manager, Medical Information, Payer & Health Systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Medical Writing: Lead the development and timely dissemination of tailored, evidence-based scientific materials for assigned therapeutic area products.
- Collaboration with Medical Affairs and RW V&E: Support the development of AMCP standard and pre-approval dossiers, Medicaid formulary requests, and custom requests.
- Payer Digital Assets: Engage in the shaping and development of the Payer Digital Assets in collaboration with Med Info CSI-Digital partners.
- Medical Information Requests: Work closely with RW V&E Field, Medical Affairs teams, and Medical Information Scientific Engagement Contact Center to guide the creation and delivery of responses to unsolicited Medical Information Requests from Payers and Health Systems.
- Scientific Information Dissemination: Support the development and dissemination of scientific information for assigned products to Clinical Decision Resource Organizations (CDRO) in partnership with Medical Information Affairs, RW V&E, SCG, and Therapeutic Teams.
- Compendia Interactions: Support interactions with drug compendia and collaborate with AD, Med Info PHS, and business partners to evaluate strategies for compendia interactions.
- Vendor Management: Ensure the optimized delivery of high-quality and efficient Payer scientific content and materials by vendors, providing real-time feedback and first-line scientific review as needed.
- Voice of Customer: Leverage voice of customer and other sources of information to identify actionable items that enhance the development of Payer and Health Systems materials.
- Projects & Research: Participate in ad-hoc projects and conduct research on the landscape of Payers, Healthcare Intermediaries, and health systems.
Qualifications:
- Education: MS or equivalent in Pharmacy or related science field required. Advanced degree (e.g., PharmD or PhD) is preferred.
- Experience:
- 2-4 years experience in Medical Information, Health Economics, and Outcomes Research, or specialized postdoctoral training in these areas.
- Expertise in the healthcare industry, clinical knowledge, or practice across multiple therapeutic areas.
- Excellent leadership skills, collaboration in a matrix environment, and effective influencing and communication (written and presentation).
- Expertise in working in a matrix environment with cross-functional teams.
- Strong customer focus and understanding of the healthcare landscape.
- Preferred:
- Working knowledge of the U.S. healthcare systems and payers, particularly managed care and public sector business models.
Additional Information:
- Location: Based in Horsham, NJ.
- Travel: Up to 10% domestic travel for conference attendance and company meetings.
