Role
This role is critical to the growth of MINDSCAPE as it connects the agency to the community and individual contacts within local organizations. It is a Sales role that is responsible for developing contacts and setting appointments. It is a part-time position with an estimated 12-15 hours per week. Employee to provide their own computer & other technology resources.
Responsibilities Networking
The position will be responsible for attending networking events, industry meet-ups, community functions, and other gatherings as assigned. The Community Engagement Ambassador will identify key contacts and develop a follow-up plan for each – primarily via face-to-face meetings, or Zoom meetings which will include a member of the agency leadership team. Must also be comfortable conducting outbound call activity.
Accurate recordkeeping
All contacts will be recorded and maintained in the agency CRM (HubSpot) and coordinating calendars utilizing Google Business Suite for meetings is a must. Use of other agency technology including Slack is required.
Weekly reporting must be provided to supervising leadership to include an accounting of hours worked, events attended, meetings set/held, and outcomes achieved.
Internal meetings
In addition to networking meetings, attendance at some internal meetings will be required to include:
- Weekly touch-base meeting with leadership
- Monthly staff meetings
- Other meetings as assigned

This is a part-time position
Starting pay is $20 per hour for 12-15 hours per week.
There is a 90-day probationary period. Upon successfully completing this timeframe, and having met key performance indicators, your pay rate will increase to $22 per hour.
As this is a Sales role, there are also incentives available for achieving specific milestones:
$25 per qualified meeting set
$50 for projects closed under $2500*
$100 for projects closed $2500-$5000*
$250 for projects closed over $5000*
*payable 30 days after the launch of the project.
