MindWell Urgent Care is a new healthcare startup with a mission to provide same-day mental health services to patients. MindWell Urgent Care is hiring a knowledgeable Patient Coordinator/Liaison who is eager, personable, and hardworking to support our expanding team at our Dallas location.
General Summary and Responsibilities: This is an exciting position that supports the company’s mission by providing outstanding customer care, patient communication, and assisting in patient retention. The medical receptionist will be responsible to provide direct patient assistance to receiving care at MindWell Urgent Care, as well as support the patient through the journey. She or he will support the company’s goals and work towards sustained coordination of care. In addition, the position partners with patient experience, care coordination, and clinical staff to promote a well-rounded service approach. There will be plenty of room for growth opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver patient/customer services that exceed patient expectations, as evidenced by patient satisfaction scores.
- Send out new patient intake forms and manage patient communications
- Oversee the timely completion of letters, forms, and medical record requests
- Monitor the timely response to all emails, faxes, mail, and other correspondence, including requests from patients, pharmacies, referral sources, hospitals, and therapists.
- Serve as a patient advocate to ensure the quality of care is consistent and predictable, meeting our high standards.
- Support Spravato treatment coodination
Require skills include the following:
- Strong communication, customer service, and leadership abilities
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with patients, and within the organization, strong organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
Required: Healthcare experience is a must. The ability to work with diverse populations. Healthcare experience, social work, or related fields. Relevant customer service. Bilingual a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
