Psychotherapist

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychotherapist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health treatment and be committed to providing high-quality care to individuals facing various psychological challenges. This role involves conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support clients in their journey toward mental wellness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide psychotherapy services using various modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, grief counseling, and applied behavior analysis.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients, including coordination of services for inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including coding for insurance purposes and adherence to medical terminology standards.
• Offer telehealth services as needed, ensuring accessibility for clients who may not be able to attend in-person sessions.
• Stay informed about advancements in psychopharmacology and special education to provide informed recommendations and support.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge of best practices in mental health care.

Experience

• A Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Valid licensure as a Psychotherapist or equivalent credential in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in patient assessment and psychotherapy with diverse populations is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, coding practices, and psychopharmacology is highly desirable.
• Experience working with special education clients or within inpatient settings is a plus.
• Proficiency in providing telehealth services is an advantage.

Pay: $55.94 - $61.99 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
