Job Description:
This is a part-time employee (W-2) position for an LGPC, LCPC, LCSW-C, or post-doctoral level (pre-licensed) psychologist with the psychology associate credential. The successful applicant has a strong commitment to further developing their competence in CBT, treating clients from a primarily CBT orientation, and an interest in working with clients who have anxiety disorders, OCD, PTSD, and MDD. Our practice receives many referrals from Johns Hopkins University and Hospital, so familiarity with, and interest in, working with college students, graduate students, academics, and healthcare professionals is a plus. Opportunities may be available for psychological assessment and psychedelic integration work.
Job Responsibilities:
-administer CBT to recruited and assigned clients
-provide up to 25 direct client care hours per week
-see clients at least 1 evening (5pm-8pm) per week, but work hours are otherwise flexible within the hours of 8am-8pm, M-F
-maintain proper case documentation (e.g., notes, reports) in a timely fashion
-respond within 24 business hours to client communications
-attend a 1-hour weekly clinical supervision meeting
-assist in billing for services rendered
-assist in marketing and client recruitment
Minimum Requirements:
-18 years of age
-US citizen or legal resident
-Masters degree in clinical or counseling psychology with LGPC credential
-LCPC license eligible in the State of Maryland upon completion of required number of supervised hours
-200 hours of supervised experience providing direct clinical care
Preferred:
-LCSW-C, LCPC, or Ph.D./Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA accredited program
-For Ph.D./Psy.D, must be psychology license eligible in the State of Maryland upon completion of required number of supervised hours
-experience providing manualized CBT or another evidence-based behavioral psychotherapy as part of a clinical research trial
-experience conducting psychological assessment
