We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Supply Chain Director to lead our supply chain operations at our Dallas-based facility. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with experience in managing teams of 10 employees and implementing process improvements.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 10 years of experience in a manufacturing business. They will also have 5 years of management experience, with a proven track record of improving organizational processes, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
Responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing purchasing, logistics, and inventory management
- Ensuring just-in-time inventory to meet production demands
- Strengthening vendor relationships and negotiating better pricing and payment terms
- Identifying long-term purchasing needs and cost-saving opportunities
- Optimizing logistics operations to ensure value for money
The Supply Chain Director will work closely with the General Manager to develop annual business plans and set short- and long-term operational goals for the team. They will also be responsible for maintaining a 5S program and ISO9001:2015 certification.
