Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Busser, you will assist servers and kitchen staff by maintaining the cleanliness of dining areas, facilitating smooth service, and enhancing the overall guest experience.
Duties
- Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next customers.
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to tables as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including floors, tables, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items.
- Support catering events by setting up and breaking down dining areas as required.
- Help with dishwashing and other kitchen tasks when necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest needs promptly and courteously.
- Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurants or catering environments, is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both guests and staff effectively.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a fast-paced setting are essential.
