We are looking for a Graveyard shift Custodian. Someone who can work from 11pm-7am reliably. This comes with an additional $1 an hour, over our starting pay for Casino Cleaners.
Job Overview
We are seeking a daytime Custodian to join our team here at the Mineral Palace. Our custodian's focus on keeping our casino and supporting facilities clean and presentable.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Carry out industrial cleaning duties in compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and spaces.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote sustainability within the facility.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold cleanliness standards across all areas of the facility.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting or moving equipment.
