Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and warmly as they arrive at the restaurant.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using the Aloha POS system.
- Assist in maintaining the flow of service by coordinating with wait staff and kitchen personnel.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area.
- Communicate effectively with team members to enhance guest relations and improve service delivery.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly Aloha, is preferred but not required.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and staff.
- Experience in food service or hospitality is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
