Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive top-notch service in a friendly and efficient manner.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm atmosphere.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system and OpenTable software.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and dietary restrictions.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service areas, and the overall dining environment.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service during the transaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or as a Server is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and handling payments accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with OpenTable is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
