Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of mechanical process technicians to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Oversee the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical systems and machinery.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for mechanical processes to optimize performance and safety.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to identify process improvements and implement solutions.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with operational goals and objectives.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure the team is completing daily weekly and monthly PMs in a timely manner.
- Identify windows within the production schedule for minor and major repairs on equipment.
- Manage inventory of mechanical spare parts and tools to ensure availability and cost efficiency.
- Prepare and present reports on team performance, project updates, and process optimization initiatives to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project planning and execution.
- Lead problem-solving efforts and root cause analysis for mechanical failures and process disruptions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, process changes, and equipment history.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and reduce downtime.
