Placing Minerva Dairy as THE choice producer that delivers ingredient cheese performance. 5th Generation: Adam Mueller and Venae Watts
The current owners, Venae and Adam, grew up in the business, obsessing over butter and cheese, like the 4 generations before them. While they have put their own spin on things, the process of making butter and cheese hasn't changed. Likewise, they have set the business up for success by raising 12 members of the 6th generation. Mechanical Process tech - PM Shift
Introduction
You will play a crucial role in optimizing and maintaining complex mechanical systems as a Mechanical Process Technician. Job Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain mechanical equipment and systems in compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Monitor and adjust equipment settings to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues and process malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve process efficiency and reliability.
- Document and report equipment performance, maintenance activities, and any incidents or anomalies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance and operational activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements.
- Train and support junior technicians and operators in mechanical processes and equipment handling.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work PM shift hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
