Mechanical Process tech - PM Shift

Introduction
You will play a crucial role in optimizing and maintaining complex mechanical systems as a Mechanical Process Technician. Your expertise will drive process efficiency and innovation, contributing to our commitment to excellence and quality. Job Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mechanical equipment and systems in compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Monitor and adjust equipment settings to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues and process malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve process efficiency and reliability.
• Document and report equipment performance, maintenance activities, and any incidents or anomalies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance and operational activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements.
• Train and support junior technicians and operators in mechanical processes and equipment handling.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work PM shift hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
