Minerva Park Behavioral Health is seeking a qualified and experienced Clinical Supervisor with a strong background in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment to oversee the clinical team and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and agency regulations. The Clinical Supervisor will provide program management and oversight, ensuring high-quality documentation of clinicians’ work, including time management and an understanding of billing practices for insurance and Ohio Medicaid. This role will also focus on ensuring clinical staff provides excellent care and adhering to program standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and oversight for the clinical team, including regular case conferences, guidance on treatment plans, and facilitating clinical growth and development.
- Review, approve, and ensure proper documentation of assessments, treatment plans, treatment plan updates, ASAM reports, and discharges.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation in accordance with OMHAS, CARF, and insurance billing requirements.
- Assist with time management strategies for clinical staff, ensuring productivity goals are met and that the team adheres to appropriate scheduling.
- Act as a backup for clinical team members when needed, covering individual and group counseling sessions as necessary.
- Provide ongoing clinical and administrative support, including program development, compliance monitoring, and staff training.
- Monitor compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, including those set by OMHAS and CARF, to maintain accreditation and program integrity.
- Ensure that the clinical services provided meet quality standards and are aligned with best practices in substance use disorder treatment.
- Foster a positive, supportive work environment and address any personnel concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
- Must hold one of the following credentials with supervisory experience:
o LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor) in the State of Ohio
o LISW (Licensed Independent Social Worker)
o LICDC (Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor)
o LCDC III (Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor III)
- Experience in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment, including assessment, treatment planning, and compliance with Medicaid and insurance billing requirements.
- Strong knowledge of Ohio Medicaid billing procedures and insurance documentation practices.
- Ability to manage time effectively, with a focus on supervising clinical staff and providing quality assurance for clinical documentation.
- Prior experience in program management, including ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to guide and support staff in a supervisory capacity.
- Knowledge of OMHAS and CARF standards is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Other Job Requirements:
- Must maintain current CPR training.
- Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation and auto insurance required.
- Must maintain professional licenses in Ohio.
