What are the responsibilities and job description for the Academic Officer position at Minhaj University Lahore?
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of academic programs.
Provide professional development opportunities for faculty.
Address student academic concerns and grievances.
Conduct orientation and convocation sessions.
Plan new course outlines and timetables.
Report on daily academic activity and submit to the Director.
Assemble a team of batch advisors to solve student problems regarding their subjects.
Perform activities, communication, and announcements within the department.
Motivate students regarding their studies and careers.
Coordinate interviews for faculty or staff.
Coordinate with QEC for departmental activities yearly.
Coordinate with the Admission Office, Registrar Office, Examination Office, and Treasurer, or any other offices as required to support the institution's mission.
Act as a student advisor as directed.
Set up appointments for meetings with parents, students, and other individuals.
Follow up on all initiatives taken by the Director daily.
Handle any other related matters as directed by Management.
Maintain records / files / minutes of meetings / reports.
Hands-on practice in Excel : Data sorting, charts.Conditional formatting, data sorting.Data selection, formulas, and functions.
Foster partnerships with external organizations for academic collaborations.
