Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Parts and Equipment Manager assumes a leadership role focused on fostering a collaborative and high-performing team. This role will be responsible for the development and coaching of Service Techs so that they can properly carry out their duties and lead the service center parts team. Additionally, there is a commitment to the continuous improvement of operational processes, involving regular reviews of sales invoices, service tickets, inventory, and active oversight of service calls. The Parts and Equipment Manager contributes to the strategic aspects of the service center, including the organization of equipment build schedules, customer rollout, parts, and product ordering. The Parts and Equipment Manager will also oversee technicians’ broader geographical regions or in depots and ensure efficient equipment refurbishment and relocation based on geography.
Job Duties:
- Oversee the daily operations and team leadership of the Parts and Equipment center.
- Ensures that KPIs for the equipment center are consistently met. Establishes action plans for areas of opportunity and provides timely coaching to the supervisor (s) and field team members, as appropriate.
- Sets and communicates the weekly build schedule for the equipment center (including work, holiday, and vacation schedules ensuring proper coverage for Customer service / satisfaction).
- Ensures standards are met companywide to maintain a clean, safe work environment while working hands-on or independently displaying a disciplined work style and strong work ethic with all the depots across the country
- Oversees parts and tool inventory. Monitors weekly parts and equipment ordering and controls excessive parts and equipment inventories.
- Manage and build a united team of personnel across the organization and encourage good moral character.
- Proactively solves problems for team members and customer accounts.
- Coordinating, scheduling, and delivering equipment as requested and following up with systems and processes to make sure the equipment is fully operational and in working order.
- Leads, recognizes, develops, and conducts routine performance discussions with the team.
- Maintains accurate records of invoices, purchase orders, and all documentation that is needed.
- Develop a deep understanding of the products, equipment, and all aspects of Mini Melts policies and procedures.
- Develop plans for training the team in collaboration with the Operations Team.
- Ensures the Parts and Equipment centers across the organization and warehouses are well maintained, clean, and a safe environment
- Develop and maintain relationships with parts and equipment vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing and timely delivery.
Analyze usage patterns and prepare forecasts for parts and equipment to prevent shortages.

Education and Experience
- 5 years of experience in managing large-scale equipment fleets demonstrated success in leadership roles overseeing teams and department operations.
- Technical or Vocational School Background or related field a plus.
- Commitment to continued learning and personal development.
- Advanced analytical and financial management skills, particularly in inventory and cost management.
- Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and asset management tools
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
