Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Executive Assistant to join our team. In addition to managing patient care coordination, you will serve as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), helping streamline their administrative duties and ensuring effective operations within the medical team. This dual role requires a balance of care navigation expertise and executive-level administrative support.
Senior Care Navigator Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Coordinate care across various healthcare providers and services.
- Provide education on healthcare options, treatments, and services.
- Advocate for patients, ensuring they receive timely care and resources.
- Assist in transitions between hospital care, home care, or other care facilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Triage incoming calls and assist Clinical Care Teams during Day Call responsibilities.
Executive Assistant Responsibilities:
- Manage the CMO’s calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Coordinate internal and external communications on behalf of the CMO.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Organize and maintain confidential files and records.
- Attend meetings with or on behalf of the CMO and take detailed minutes.
- Handle and prioritize incoming communications, ensuring urgent matters are addressed promptly.
- Collaborate with other executive team members to support overall organizational goals.
- Support Minimally Invasive Procedure Specialists C-Suite , COO as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Social Work, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in care coordination, case management, or a patient advocacy role.
- Prior experience in executive support, particularly in healthcare or a related field, is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare services, community resources, and care management principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and scheduling software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably in Interventional Radiology, Med-Surg, ER, ICU, or PACU.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for labs and office-based practices.
- Experience with i-STAT devices and medication management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to putting patients' needs first and delivering compassionate care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Experience with post-op pain management and care coordination.
