Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
To keep the areas assigned inside and outside the childcare center in a tidy, clean and sanitary condition.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
To exemplify the Ministry of Caring mission and values to provide safe and affordable childcare for children.
- To clean inside and outside the childcare center
- Keep center clean, and sanitary at all times.
- To ask the Manager or designated staff for any supplies that may be needed.
- To perform other duties as may be deemed necessary to carry out the objectives of The Childcare Center
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work with manager, staff, and residents.
- Dependable and honest character; good-natured personality.
- Knowledge regarding general maintenance, including orderliness and cleanliness both inside and outside the apartment complex.
OTHER SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Prior experience in housekeeping/custodial position would be helpful but is not mandatory.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to move furnishings/furniture in order to vacuum/dust/mop.
