Position Summary:
The Ministry of Caring is seeking an Executive Assistant to be a supportive force to our CEO. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and meticulous attention for details. This person should have experience working in an office environment and performing administrative duties. Given the dynamic nature of the executive landscape, we rely on this person to be flexible and consistent while maintaining the utmost confidentiality.
Essential Functions:
- Manage professional and personal scheduling for CEO, including agendas, mail, email, phone calls.
- Perform administrative assistance, such as writing, dictation, and editing emails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on CEO’s behalf.
- Manage calendar(s), including making appointments, and prioritizing the most sensitive matters.
- Coordinate travel arrangements
- Attend meetings and take notes of discussions, and prepare draft of minutes and summaries
- Perform other duties needed to help drive our vision, and fulfill our mission, that “The poor should never be treated poorly.”
Education/Experience:
- Excellent command of English grammar and spelling
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Bachelor’s degree Preferred
- Three to five years prior experience in supporting a senior executive
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Work, PowerPoint, and Excel) a MUST
- Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Qualifications
