What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Coordinator/MRI Tech Assistant (Float) position at Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology, Ltd?
The Patient Care Coordinator for the Neurodiagnostics Laboratory Services department performs a variety of administrative duties in support of the MRI department to ensure operational objectives are met. Answers phone calls, schedules patient appointments, and coordinates information on behalf of MCN's providers. Works in conjunction with MCN's registration staff to ensure that all patient visits are preauthorized and registered. This position will also assist our MRI technicians with greeting patients, changing patients to MRI attire, assisting tech in MRI room and assisting patient when MRI is completed.
This position is full-time. Work locations are on a two-week rotation between Coon Rapids (CR), Maple Grove (MG), and Burnsville (BV).
Week 1
Mon – CR, Tues – CR, Wed – MG, Thurs – MG, Fri – MG
Week 2
Mon – MG, Tues – BV, Wed – BV, Thurs – BV, Fri - CR
This position is benefit eligible and includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO.
