What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Manager position at Minneapolis Golf Club?
As a Banquet Manager, you will be responsible for providing hands-on leadership, training and assistance to the banquet staff and serve as the primary contact for the client during an event.
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing all, but not limited to, the following tasks to the highest of standards :
- Hire, train and develop banquet personnel
- Provide leadership and direction to banquet personnel
- Create diagrams for room set-up
- Hold pre-event meetings with service staff to ensure smooth. efficient service for events
- Respond timely and professionally to members, clients and guests
- Ensure accurate timely billing for all events
