The Sequencing and Bioinformatics Supervisor serves to supervise scientific research and analytical activities of the Sequencing and Bioinformatics Unit of the Infectious Disease Laboratory. The Sequencing and Bioinformatics Unit of the Infectious Disease Laboratory utilizes state-of-the-art diagnostic technology to analyze human specimens for bacterial, fungal and parasitic agents of infectious and communicable diseases in support of epidemiological investigations of disease outbreaks and disease surveillance within the State of Minnesota.This position will :

Previous experience below is required to be considered a candidate and will be assessed during the interview process :
A master's degree in microbiology, chemistry, public health, laboratory science, or related science field may substitute for 18 months of experience, and a PhD for 2 years.
