The City of Inver Grove Heights seeks an Aquatics Program Supervisor, to lead the efforts to develop, implement and supervise a comprehensive aquatics program at the Veteran’s Memorial Community Center. Applicants must possess the necessary education and certifications and be able to work occasional evenings and weekends to support aquatics hours and programs.
The hiring range for this position is $43.20-$46.97/hr., with a full salary range up to $54.48/hr. This is a Salaried/Exempt supervisory position with comprehensive benefits including health, life, and disability insurance and Minnesota PERA retirement. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies, Education or related field, plus 3 years aquatics and recreation experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications/Licenses: (or ability to obtain within the first twelve months of employment), American Red Cross Lifeguard; Lifeguard Instructor; Water Safety Instructor, and a valid driver’s license.
