The City of Inver Grove Heights seeks a Golf Course Technician for Inver Wood Golf Course. Responsibilities include: Support the Superintendent and Assistant in the performance and supervision of all normal golf course maintenance practices; Assist with training seasonal staff and weekend supervision; Conduct fertilizer, pesticide, and irrigation system activities; Min. Quals: H.S. Graduate; Valid D.L.; Ability to obtain a MN Pesticide Applicators License within 3 months of hire; Physical ability to perform job duties. Preferred: Current Pesticide License, 2 years Golf Course experience, formal turf education; experience with reel mowers, mechanical aptitude/experience.
Full-time, hourly position, scheduled for 40 weeks per year. Hiring range is $23.53 - $26.24/hr.
