The Saint Paul Fire Department is hiring a HR Consultant I to support the HR team with a variety of administrative and operational tasks to support employee functions. •Day to day management and track tracking of employees leave to include legal compliance, policy enforcement, reporting and analytics, auditing, recordkeeping, and communications.
•Enter First Report of Injury; maintain workability forms; maintain required log.
•Help manage employee onboarding and offboarding.
•Assist with recruitment needs, including scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
•Maintain accurate employee records and files.
•Assist with benefits administration.
•Help manage and track employee performance reviews; provide administrative support for performance management process.
•Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and general support.
•Support team members on various projects, initiatives, and daily operations.

Salary : $63,274 - $82,576
