What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mountain Bike Instructor position at Minnesota City Jobs?
The Mountain Bike Instructor for the City of Duluth is a non-bargaining unit, grant-funded position that will plan, implement, and facilitate a variety of mountain biking programming for youth and community members across Duluth. Programs will include progressive skill-building programs with youth, Learn to Ride events for a variety of ages, Teen Rides, and other programming such as bike safety and basic bike maintenance.
Upon hire, this position receives training on the skills, safety, and tasks needed to facilitate safe and high-quality mountain biking program experiences. Training includes a BICP (Bike Instructor Certification Program) Rider Leader certification to be completed before facilitating programs. Mountain biking experience required, experience working with youth preferred.
