This part-time position responds to fire, medical, rescue, hazmat and other emergency incidents, participates in training and maintenance, and provides fire and safety education to the public. After the initial training period, individuals in this position will work a designated number of scheduled shifts or hours and respond to call-backs as specified by the department.
