The Spring Lake Park Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. The City of Spring Lake Park, population 7400, is an established residential community nestled between the cities of Fridley and Blaine with small-town charm. The Police Department has a family atmosphere with great support from the community and the City Council making it an ideal place to work. The Police Department currently consists of 11 sworn officers including the Chief of Police and 2 support staff members. The current process is for the addition of one police officer to the department.
Applicants must fulfill minimum selection standards of the Minnesota POST Board and must possess or be eligible to possess a full-time Minnesota Peace Officer license by the time of appointment.
Lateral transfers are encouraged and will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
