The City of Rochester is now hiring for Project Manager
Project Manager is an advanced-level professional providing strategic, tactical, technical, and administrative work in conceptualizing, planning, designing and constructing a variety of City capital projects in support of the Destination Medical Center Initiative. The Project Manager is responsible for delivering exceptionally high-quality projects of distinguished and masterful design. Work includes directing all phases of assigned projects which have substantial project budgets, complex coordination requirements, and implementation challenges. This position is responsible for effectively managing a variety of City capital construction projects to ensure that project goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame, funding parameters, and according to contract documents.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning/Design, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or Public Administration AND a minimum of three (3) years of full-time experience being a key part of a project team that delivers complex civil infrastructure, parks, or urban design type projects
