Job Responsibilities:
Identify, engage, and onboard potential volunteers through targeted outreach and networking efforts. Educate and assist community members, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and other stakeholders, in utilizing public transportation systems efficiently and independently.
Duties & Responsibilities:
-Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies, individualized and group training programs, and conduct on-site and field training sessions.
-Attend community meetings to promote the travel training program and recruitment.
-Collaborates with supervisor in the development and implementation of strategies for volunteer recognition and retention.
-Assists in the creation and maintenance of tools and materials utilized in outreach and onboarding.
-Provide instruction on the basics of using public transit, reading schedules, and understanding transit maps.
