The City of Saint Paul Public Works Department is hiring an individual to perform skilled work and lead crew members to ensure the continuous operation of sewage pumps, flood water pumps, and sewage measuring devices.
Here's what you can expect to do:
Repair and/or perform preventive maintenance on pumps, motors, compressors, electrical devices, and related equipment.
Undertake the general maintenance of the sewer pump station buildings in order to keep sewer pumping station buildings and panels in a state of good repair.
Maintain pump gauges, record gauge readings, and monitor general pump station operations.
Respond to after-hours calls, overtime, and emergency work as needed.
