MNCLS is a boutique firm providing outside general counsel representation to owner-operated contractors. As an Associate Litigation Attorney, you will play a crucial role in supporting our litigation team at MNCLS. This position requires a strong foundation in legal practice, strategic thinking, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services. You will work closely with senior attorneys, contribute to the firm's reputation for legal excellence, and provide dedicated advocacy for our clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Litigation Efforts :
Assist in managing litigation cases, demonstrating the ability to navigate complexities and adapt to evolving circumstances.
Develop and execute case strategies under the guidance of senior attorneys to achieve favorable outcomes for our clients.
Client Representation :
Provide legal representation for clients in various court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and negotiations.
Ensure clients' best interests are prioritized in all legal actions.
Legal Analysis :
Conduct thorough legal research, analyze precedent, statutes, and regulations, and engage in detailed legal analysis.
Develop well-grounded legal strategies, incorporating an understanding of case law and industry-specific regulations.
Legal Documentation and Writing :
Draft and review a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, motions, contracts, and settlement agreements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
Legal Technology Proficiency :
Stay current with internal and external technology tools and platforms relevant to MNCLS and the legal profession.
Leverage technology to enhance case management, research, communication, and efficiency in legal practice.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Minnesota.
Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience.
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Demonstrated teamwork skills.
