Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join our team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as a CBS Training Coordinator! This position will implement and coordinate employee training to align with the Community Based Services (CBS) Annual Learning Plan and in partnership with CBS leadership. This also includes demonstrating knowledge of the regulatory requirements impacting staff in the different CBS business lines.

Primary responsibilities:

  • To manage, coordinate and facilitate the training activities for assigned DCT program accounts. Meets the diverse needs of business areas and unique needs of adult learners.
  • To ensure employees receive the training opportunities needed to implement the DCT Strategic Vision and Mission.
  • To serve as the DCT Learning & Development representative with assigned program accounts.
  • Providing coordination, facilitation and consultation to ensure the mission, vision and strategic plan of DCT.
  • To ensure that new employee orientation and ongoing trainings are conducted at assigned sites and programs as needed to comply with rules, laws, licensing requirements and accreditation requirements as they apply to that facility or program.
  • To recruit a cadre of facility staff to conduct training on regularly recurring topics including, but not limited to; DCT Orientation, Effective and Safe Engagement, CBS Specifics training, CORE 4, and others as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Two (2) years of experience with instructional design and delivering training to adult learners. Experience must demonstrate:

  • Experience designing, developing, and coordinating training programs and development activities.
  • Experience training and using needs assessment, training methods, adult learning, training evaluation, and measurement.
  • Ability to manage multiple training programs simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and standards are met.
  • Experience managing or coordinating programs with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with learning management system or other similar tracking/reporting software.

Note: A bachelor’s degree or higher in learning management, instructional design, adult education, or related field may substitute for 1 year of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of principles and strategies of adult learning and development.
  • 5 years experience providing direct classroom training services to adult learners.
  • Knowledge and experience of utilizing virtual learning platforms.
  • Strong group facilitation skills and techniques.
