We are seeking a dynamic, customer focused individual to join our HR team in an on-site role. This position offers the opportunity to learn various aspects of human resources, including:

  • Recruitment and Staffing: Assist in recruitment and selection activities.
  • HR Information System (HRIS): Assist in processing transactions and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Employee Benefits: Assist with the coordination and administration of employee benefit programs.
  • Administrative Support: Provide essential support to the HR team in daily operations.
  • Communication: Respond to inquiries from employees and candidates, ensuring a positive experience.

This position is located at our district headquarters in Roseville and will work onsite full-time.

We anticipate conducting on-site interviews the week of April 28, and the selected candidate will start around mid-May.

Minimum Qualifications

At least one year of experience performing human resources tasks that demonstrates the following:

  • Experience entering and maintaining a database.
  • Experience reading, interpreting, and applying statutes, policies, procedures, rules and/or regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient with computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system and/or human resources information system.
  • Experience working in a union environment.
