Pay is $18-$22 depending on experience plus potential to earn billing bonus.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform a wide range of marine repairs, which could include diagnostics, complex repairs, and electrical work.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy inspections in service to our guests
- Maintain a safe and productive working environment
- Maintain professionalism
- Keep shop in clean, working order
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Job Requirements:
- 2 years as a Marine Shop Technician or similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of marine systems, engines, and components.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the marine industry.
- Positive attitude
- Desire to serve others
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Technical certification or relevant degree in marine mechanics is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on boats lifted above your head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the boats needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for most of the workday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
