Essential Functions
- Work with the Jewish Arts & Culture Senior Director to finalize the rehearsal and concert calendar for the season.

Conduct weekly rehearsals and lead performances for the JCC Symphony Orchestra.

Select repertoire that reflects a balance of classical, Jewish, and diverse musical traditions, appealing to a wide audience.

Recruit, engage, and mentor musicians of various skill levels, fostering a welcoming and collaborative environment.

Work closely with Jewish Arts & Culture staff to plan concerts, special events, and community engagement opportunities.

Coordinate with guest artists, soloists, and composers as needed.

Oversee concert logistics, including scheduling, venue coordination, and production elements.

Advocate for the Symphony within the JCC and the broader Twin Cities arts community.

Participate in community outreach efforts to expand the Symphony’s reach and impact.
