DESCRIPTION :
This position will lead, support, and coordinate the planning, development, and operations for current court operational systems and business processes. This includes product ownership, resolution of service desk tickets, party records management, research and analysis of legislative requests, and analysis of current technology updates' impact on statewide business practices and system (applications) and provide recommendations. This position requires a high level of expertise in multiple statewide business processes and court systems with the ability to provide work direction, lead groups, use initiative, and exercise independent judgment in order to make decisions and recommendations regarding standard, statewide court business practices.
EXAMPLES OF JOB DUTIES :
- Serve as the lead subject matter expert on committees, workgroups, EP Projects and Product Ownership teams for multiple statewide business processes and technical systems (applications).
- Provide statewide business support for technical systems (applications) to court administration staff, internal and external users of court and justice partner systems) by responding to Service desk tickets, document security questions and e-mails. (Including : state business operations staff, state and district IT staff, forms management.)
- Provide statewide management or support of process re-engineering efforts and technology rollouts, assessing court operations and recommending improvements to workflows and use of technology.
- Provide business process and technical program assistance to support other SCAO divisions and units.
- Provide business process and technical program assistance to support other SCAO divisions and units.
- Contribute as subject-matter expert faculty in training programs for current business applications by reviewing training materials and participating in training sessions as needed.

SALARY RANGE :
The expected starting salary range for external candidates is $39.68 - $50.60 per hour ($82,852 - $105,653 annually). The full salary range for this position is $39.68 - $61.52 per hour ($82,852 - $128,454 annually). This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is eligible for State of MN employee benefits.

Position Logistics :
The position is classified as a Court Operations Analyst and will work normal business hours, Monday-Friday. Work will be conducted in a hybrid environment, consisting of both remote work and in-person work at the Minnesota Judicial Center located in downtown Saint Paul, MN as business need dictates.
