What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Start Mentor/Coach position at Minnesota Valley Action Council Inc?
Responsible for providing coaching to classroom or home visiting staff following the Practice-Based Coaching model, including individual and group coaching. Responsible for providing professional development opportunities to classroom and/or some visiting staff through pre-service and in-service training. Responsible for developing and maintaining professional working relationships with families, co-workers, community partners and other service providers.
Applicant must have a minimum of Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood/Child Development degree or equivalent related degree and/or a minimum or 3 years' experience. This position requires good communication and organizational skills. Experience working with adult learning and teacher skill development is beneficial.
