Job Summary:
At Minnetronix Medical we offer year-round internship experiences, in a variety of disciplines, to enhance your education and provide hands-on work experience to help launch your career in the medical device field. We are looking for students interested in an Engineering career to join our New Product Introduction space and collaborate with our team to bring cutting-edge medical devices to life.
Assemblers are part of teams that design, develop, and manufacture electronic and software systems according to medical device product requirements and specifications. Assemblers work alongside both the NPI engineering teams and the production teams to assist with issues that occur prior to or during production.
This role consists of 10-12 weeks during the Summer of 2025, starting in May and ending in August. Come join our growing team!
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Test, troubleshoot, assemble, and rework electronic systems
- Partner with Engineers to create, provide feedback, and redline assembly procedures
- Evaluation of discrepant materials and/or devices for disposition
- Build complex assemblies independently
- Extensive work with surface mount and through hole printed circuit boards
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- College Student pursuing a degree in Engineering or Technician
- Class status of Sophomore or Junior preferred
- Must be skilled in the use of electronic test & measurement equipment or in soldering of electronic components
- Clean room and laser experience preferred
- Interested in pursuing a career in the medical device industry
- Available 40 hours/week preferred
- Available for 10-12 week Summer RISE Program Internship
- Must be eligible to work in the United States; at this time, Minnetronix does not transfer or sponsor visas
