Requirements:
- Familiarity with children’s merchandise
- Cheerful disposition
- Sensitivity to families who are letting go of sentimental items by consigning
- Ability to multi-task and efficiently problem-solve
- Ability to lift 35 lbs
- Ability to stand for the majority of 6 hour shifts
Overview of the Job:
- Customer service
- Store management
- Team communication (check-ins, meetings, reviews, WhatsApp)
- Consignor recruitment & appreciation
- Inventory management
- Pricing (expediting items out to the sales floor)
- Social media marketing (stories & posts)
- Sale event management
- Community activity participation
- Collaborations with other organizations
- Retail product management
- NOTE: Many of the tasks that fall under the above categories are delegated to other team members.
Other Responsibilities:
- Team scheduling
- Finding coverage or filling in when a team member is out
- Meeting / communicating regularly with owner
Hours for Position: 30 hours / week ( /-)
Pay: Competitive hourly pay with quarterly incentives for reaching sales goals.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
