What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wood Finishing Technician position at Minocqua Wood Products?
Minocqua Wood Products is seeking an experienced wood finisher/spray booth operator. You will be responsible for performing all tasks required to prep, stain, paint or finish millwork, paneling, flooring, cabinetry, furniture and other architectural details.
Current experience in the application of stains, dyes, conversion varnish, pre-cat, polyurethane and waterborne coatings. Color matching skills would be a plus. Past experience should include either working in a spray booth facility, furniture refinishing shop or working for a contractor who does quality custom finishing. The ability to work with minimal guidance after you learn our methods is the goal.
We offer competitive wages. The wage listed is presumed to be a starting wage. There will be a trial period with a review after you learn our methods and familiarize yourself with the products we use. Pay will be based on experience and skill.
