What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Operations Intern position at Minot Minotauros?
The Minot Minotauros are looking to add an Operations Interns for the summer ahead of the 2025-26 North American Hockey League (NAHL) season. The intern will work with and learn from our current business operations staff on everything that goes into getting ready for a junior hockey season. Last season we sold out 23 of our 28 regular season home games and led the NAHL Central Division in attendance. Next season we aim to sell out all 28 home games for the first time ever.

- Managing Current Season Ticket Holder Relationships (no sales) and Working with a Ticketing System
- Summer Marketing and In-Season Marketing Planning
- Sales Planning and Prospective Partner Development (no sales)
- Merchandise Design/Inventory Scheduling
- Media Planning and Scheduling
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a high energy person who values good customer service. They will be able to handle three to four hours on their feet often times needing to go up and down stairs, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Additionally they will either be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from college studying a related field. The student may or may not choose to seek college credit for this internship, the Minotauros will work with the student's school to ensure the internship works within their requirements for credit if so desired.
What the Intern can Expect from the Minotauros
The Minotauros will work with the intern to develop their skills to take the next step in their career. Our team is collaborative in nature and the intern will be given the opportunity to seek the projects that will help them achieve their ultimate career goals. Interns should expect to be treated as valued members of the team and encouraged to share opinions and ideas openly. Our goal is to help our interns develop real skills, not send them on coffee runs.
Compensation
This is an unpaid internship with an apartment and meal stipend provided.
