Position Information
Assist with field set-up and athlete hydration during practices and other athletic events. This position requires good communication and management skills, as well as evening and weekend availability.
ND Veteran's Preference
North Dakota Veterans claiming preference must submit all proof of eligibility by the closing date. Proof of eligibility includes a DD-214 and if claiming disabled status, a current letter of disability from the VA dated within the last 12 months.
Position Description and Details
Responsibilities
- Assist with pre-practice and pre-game preparation including field set-up and filling ice chests, sprayers, and water bottles
- Refill sprayers and water bottles as needed during practices and events
- Assist with post-practice and post-game procedures including sideline tear-down and cleaning hydration equipment
- Maintain professional relationships and interactions with fellow workers and student-athletes
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace within the Athletic Training Room
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Possible travel

- Ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of people
- Strong communication and work ethic
- Ability to comprehend and execute assigned tasks efficiently
- Capable of meeting physical demands of position (i.e. Standing for extended periods of time, lifting 50 pounds, tolerating inclement weather, etc.)
