Position Overview:
As a Stock Worker/Receiver, you will handle the receipt, storage, and organization of inventory. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to maintain accurate records of stock.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Unload and move materials or products to designated storage areas.
- Organize and maintain stockrooms, ensuring items are properly stored and accessible.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or shortages.
- Assist in stock replenishment and perform regular inventory counts.
- Follow safety procedures while handling heavy or hazardous materials.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks as needed.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in stock handling, receiving, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items regularly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety protocols is a plus.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
